To begin with, I would like to mention that I am not a professional trader and also not a bookreviewer!
Im learning about trading stocks, commodities and Forex. I love to read books. I found this book to be very useful for beginners since the first few chapters discuss basic terms and explanation. All the terms a trader needs to know have been included in the book.
This is followed by a very good explanation about demand and supply strategy with price action in-lining with 'three lines'.
The writer has clearly done a lot of research before writing the book, which shows in the references too. Many terms were nicely introduced such as 'efficient market hypothesis', 'confluence factors' etc. A lot of forex book authors like to give information about their personal life or lifestyle, but this book is more focused on technical analysis in terms of demand and supply strategy, with no jokes sandwiched in. Some people may find it to be less interesting because of this.
The book may also be very helpful for advanced traders too. Lastly, this book is a perfect combination of academic and practical, well formatted, and professionally edited. It could be very helpful to those who want to gain a solid foundation before starting a trading career.
I think the author has clearly delivered what he wants to say. In summary, the book is definitely worth investing in. Although this book is a technical, it makes difficult information accessible, excellent to novice traders. The candlestick charts used throughout the book clearly illustrate simple concepts of economics - supply and demand on Forex trading. The structure and flow of the material is very well laid out, which gives readers a clear understanding of how to implement demand and supply model.
It highlights with examples why a 'rule based approach' in Forex trading is so important and suggests how traders can overcome challenges that arise. I came to understand that the Forex trading system is not a gamble but rule-based trading that when employed, can yield great results! I only rated this as okay because the author wanders off the path of what could have been a good book.
He tries to cover everything about trading from discussing pips to margin. You can get that stuff anywhere, and done better.
He had a great idea but did not focus on that, and when he did discuss "the three lines" it was chaotic and unfullfilling, in my opinion. I really got a lot out of this book. I will read it over again to focus on the main part of supply and demand zones trading, three lines forecasting forex price action rana r.
